Crosstraining: Kitesurfing

Besides to swim, bike and run I like to go out on the water to kitesurf. Three weeks before my first triathlon a friend asked me to join him to his favorite island Bonaire. Although I still had to finish some training hours I knew Bonaire was the perfect place to unwind. Kitesurfing is actually a great core workout. The last two photos are taken with a Gopro camera mounted to my kite lines.

  Riding toeside in a breath taking scenery. Every kite session I passed sea turtles getting to the surface and quickly diving under when they saw me coming. Amazing!
